| Contrary to popular belief, road runners are not spindly, ostrict-like creatures with blue plumage. They are known for running very fast, though. Legend has it that these animals are capable of running straight up the face of a rock wall, or can run straight into a tunnel that's been painted into the side of a desert cliff. These rumors remain unconfirmed, though. |  |

Some techniques for catching road runners include the use of earthquake pills,
rocket-powered skates and giant sheets of flypaper. None of these techniques
have been known to work, which is why they have remained unpopular. |
